Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS)
CARTS provides transportation services to nine Hill Country counties, including Blanco county. CARTS delivers transportation tailored specifically for each of the communities it serves and provides predictable connections between these communities and metropolitan transportation services.

Community Resource Centers (CRC)
CRC is a referral source for numerous social services. In addition to connecting you with the agencies you need, the also offer computers and a fax machine for your use if you are job hunting.
Good Sam is a food pantry and thrift store. It provides help for people in need. All funds for the Center come from donations of several local churches, individual gifts, and the sale of second-hand clothing and other items.

Blanco CoAPT is a group of people who have come together with a common goal to reduce youth substance abuse.
Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG)
CAPCOG serves as an advocate, planner, and coordinator on important regional issues in the 10-county Austin metropolitan area. It works directly with its member local governments to recognize opportunities for cooperation and eliminate unnecessary duplication in emergency communications, elderly assistance, law enforcement training, criminal justice planning, solid waste reduction, homeland security planning, infrastructure development, transportation planning, and economic development.
Hill Country AllianceThe Hill Country Alliance (HCA)
HCA is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raise public awareness and build community support around the need to preserve the natural resources and heritage of the Central Texas Hill Country.
Hill Country Area Crime Stoppers
Hill Country Area Crime Stoppers is a non-profit volunteer citizen-directed organization that works with local law enforcement and the media through tips provided to help keep our communities a safe place to live.
Keep Blanco Beautiful works at beautifying the city, from maintaining the plants on the Courthouse Square to cleaning up trash during the annual community Trash-Off and River Cleanup. The Streetscape Committee is working with KBB to raise funds for the city's master planner.
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is a unique education agency with a statewide network of professional educators, trained volunteers, and county offices. It reaches into every Texas county to address local priority needs. Some of our major efforts are in mitigating drought impacts; conserving water use in homes, landscapes, and production agriculture; improving emergency management; enhancing food security; and protecting human health through education about diet, exercise, and disease prevention and management.
